About
Philosophy of care
My care is grounded in compassionate, patient-centered and evidence-based medicine because effective healthcare begins with listening and trust. In transplant surgery, patients and their families navigate medical and emotional complexities beyond the operating room. I provide you clear communication, thoughtful education and collaborative decision-making. Working with multidisciplinary teams, I deliver care that supports successful outcomes, long-term wellness and improved quality of life.
Why I entered medicine
I pursued a medical career after experiencing the impact of compassionate healthcare during my mother’s battle with cancer. From a young age, I dedicated my life to helping others and their families as a way of giving back to the clinicians who cared for us.
Personal interests
I enjoy time with my parents, friends and pets. I have a guinea pig named Gizmo and a horse named Whisper. Each year, I look forward to visiting Walt Disney World with my mother to celebrate personal milestones. I also enjoy going to the gym and weightlifting.
