Sports Medicine Fellowship Benefits

The following program-specific benefits are offered to Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) sports medicine fellows in addition to the graduate medical education (GME)-wide salary and benefits.

  • 160 hours of vacation time (paid time off, or PTO)
    • Up to 40 hours of PTO can be used as continuing medical education for conference attendance or other approved educational activities
    • Two personal days 
  • Six paid holidays
  • $1,000 continuing education allowance
  • Uniforms: fleece jacket and white coat provided by the program
  • Cost assistance for select conferences as approved by the program director
  • Post-graduate placement services
