As an essential worker, you are eligible to receive your COVID-19 vaccine before the general public. We are currently vaccinating health care workers and residents and staff of long-term and skilled nursing facilities. We will vaccinate other essential workers in the future per the Pennsylvania Department of Health phased approach to vaccination. You can sign up to be notified when it’s your turn to schedule an appointment (see directions below).
At this time, LVHN is only scheduling vaccination for individuals age 18 and older. If you have had a vaccine in the last 14 days, you should delay your COVID-19 vaccination. You should not receive another vaccine 14 days prior to or after your COVID-19 vaccination.
All essential workers must show their corporate ID card at their appointment. If your ID does not include a photo, you’ll be required to show a government-issued photo ID as well. If your organization does not issue ID cards, a letter printed on corporate letterhead outlining your position along with a government-issued photo ID will suffice.
If you are an essential worker as outlined by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce Guidance for COVID-19 Response, then you can take three steps to enter the queue for vaccination. When you are eligible to receive a vaccine, you will receive a notification to schedule your appointment.
Once you complete the form, you will be notified when you can schedule the date and location of your vaccination in MyLVHN.
Vaccine supply is limited in the early stage of distribution. LVHN is following Pennsylvania’s Department of Health guidelines to draft the priorities — one set for health care colleagues and another set for patients. As an essential worker, you are in phase 1b of the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s phased approach to vaccination. LVHN is continuing to vaccinate health care workers and other groups listed in Phase 1A of the state's plan.
