The George E. Moerkirk Emergency Medicine Institute (GEM-EMI) is a hospital-based training center accredited to teach American Heart Association certification courses, pre-hospital education including Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification program, Co-AEMSP-accredited paramedic programs, and trauma education for physicians and nurses though the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Trauma Nurses and the Emergency Nurses Association.

Paramedic Program

Earn your NREMT-P Certification through EMI and Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC). This program will provide ACLS, PALS and PHTLS certifications and 12 lead EKG interpretation training.
