Laboratory tests use blood, urine or other samples to understand what is happening inside your body or if treatments that have been prescribed to you are working. Tests can check for blood glucose (sugar) levels, liver or kidney function, hormone function, the flu and more. Lab tests are ordered by your physician or advanced practice clinician when needed.

At Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital, we understand that getting your blood drawn can be stressful and scary, especially for kids. To help make the blood-drawing process as comfortable and anxiety-free as possible for children, we teamed up with HNL Lab Medicine to provide pediatric phlebotomy services that combine our expertise and experience to optimize laboratory services for kids.
