Nurse-Family Partnership

Nurse-Family Partnership provides free support and education to first-time pregnant women in the Pocono region.

If you are a first-time pregnant mom who lives in Monroe, Carbon or Pike counties and are WIC-eligible or have a lower income, you may benefit from the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP). Our registered nurses provide support and education through home visits to help you have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy school-ready child. The Nurse-Family Partnership program has been independently reviewed and evaluated and is ranked as the gold standard of home visiting programs.

Who can enroll in NFP?

  • First-time mothers
  • Fewer than 28 weeks pregnant
  • Those who are Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) eligible/low income
  • Must live in Monroe, Carbon or Pike counties

More than 300,000 first-time moms have participated in the program. It’s entirely voluntary and created just for you.

Apply by contacting NFP at 570-426-1688 or nursefamilypartnership_lvh-poc@lvhn.org.
