We offer have easily available third trimester educational videos to help you prepare for childbirth. We also offer in-person childbirth, breastfeeding and parenting classes to help you during pregnancy and delivery and while breastfeeding and caring for your newborn.

High-risk pregnancy care
If you have a high-risk pregnancy, LVHN provides full service maternal fetal medicine (perinatology) physicians who specialize in caring for patients with chronic health conditions, unexpected problems and fragile pregnancies. Maternal fetal medicine experts work to keep you as healthy as possible during pregnancy and are always available throughout your pregnancy and especially if you arrive at the hospital with acute or serious problems. Our Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest provides lifesaving technologies like respirators for premature or sick newborns.
