Families can now schedule Pfizer-BioNTech vaccinations for children age 6 months to 4 years by appointment only at Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–17th Street.

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine series for this age group is a three-shot regimen, with each dose being one-tenth the dose given to adults. Children receiving the vaccine series are given the first two doses three weeks apart and a third at least two months later.

Clinic information

The clinics will be held inside the LVH–17th Street auditorium:

  • Thursday, Sept. 1 (2-6 p.m.)
  • Thursday, Sept. 22 (2-6 p.m.)
  • Thursday, Nov. 17 (2-6 p.m.)

They have been scheduled in a way that allows children who attend all three dates to complete their full vaccine series. However, first, second and third doses will be available at all three of the clinic dates for children at any stage of vaccination. At your child’s appointment, a staff member will provide information on how and when to schedule their next dose.

There are two easy ways to schedule appointments at these clinics:

  1. Call our COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline at 833-584-6283 (833-LVHN-CVD). We’re open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  2. Go to MyLVHN, the health network’s patient portal, through the app or at MyLVHN.org:
    Sign In or Sign Up
You will need proxy access to your child’s MyLVHN account to schedule through the patient portal. If you do not have proxy access, please contact your child’s health care provider. If your child does not have an LVHN provider, please call 888-402-LVHN (5846).
