Our team is proud to provide a wide range of clinical care for children through older adults. In addition to providing primary health care for all ages, we offer bilingual and support group programs for people living with chronic conditions like diabetes or asthma. We are dedicated to keeping you well, and should you need medical insurance, we will help connect you with resources to help you obtain medical insurance.
Weller Health Education at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital offers school-based programs that promote physical, emotional and social well-being for K–12 students, parents and school personnel. The John Van Brakle Child Advocacy Center at LVH-17th Street brings together Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Department of Child Protection Medicine, law enforcement, child protection services, prosecutors and mental health professionals to provide a trauma-focused response for suspected child victims of sexual and physical abuse.
Breast Health Services at LVH–17th Street is here to provide you with state-of-the-art 3D screening mammography in addition to 2D mammography. We also provide diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided biopsy. Our compassionate technologists and entire Breast Health Service team have helped Lehigh Valley Hospital earn designation as a Certified Quality Breast Center of Excellence™ in the National Quality Measures for Breast Centers (NQMBC) by the National Consortium of Breast Centers. Lehigh Valley Hospital and Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono are the only locations in Pennsylvania to earn these this designation.
Comprehensive Health Services (CHS) is the largest comprehensive, full-service program dedicated to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) awareness and care in the Lehigh Valley. The multidisciplinary team is comprised of providers, nurses, case managers, prevention and outreach support, case managers, behavior change specialists, dietitian and pharmacist. This team works to support patients and is funded by the Ryan White Part C Program.
The Hepatitis Care Center, the only multidisciplinary hepatitis center in the region, offers the most complete care, including the latest in medications and therapies for people living with Hepatitis B and/ or C. The Hepatitis Care Center also offers free rapid hepatitis C testing.
We can help improve your sleep or that of your loved one. Our Sleep Disorders Center offers night and daytime sleep studies for children and adults, as well as home sleep studies, when referred by your physician. Our center helps diagnose and treat patients with obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, narcolepsy and other sleep disorders. Diagnosis, education and initiation of treatment occur as rapidly as possible, usually the day following the sleep study.
The TSU at Lehigh Valley Hospital–17th Street is a 52 bed sub-acute skilled nursing and rehabilitation unit. The TSU is a safe, supportive and comfortable setting for those who no longer need the care of a hospital. In addition to round the clock nursing care, we offer physical, occupational and speech therapy services as well as a full schedule of activities designed to meet our residents’ recreational needs and support their progress in physical and occupational therapy.
The Fleming Memory Center specializes in the care and treatment of: memory impairment, depression and anxiety, dementia and other behavior disturbances. We provide thorough patient assessments and treatment planning, as well as provide support to caregivers. Our services include: one-on-one/family consultation; facilitating community agency referrals; support groups; and education and training through the course of the illness.
The LVPG Geriatric Medicine team specializes in comprehensive geriatric medicine and can evaluate conditions specific to the older patient such as: frequent falls and dizziness, medication management, frailty. We also provide preventive care recommendations at your request.
The Center for Women’s Medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital–17th Street provides comprehensive health care for women, including adolescent girls. Services include: Gynecologic exams, prenatal care, immunizations, screenings for cancer, sexually transmitted diseases and HIV, and programs for OB patients.
The Department of Dental Medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital–17th Street is a general practice dental residency program designed to serve as an enhanced educational experience for the dental school graduate, while providing dental care to an underserved segment of our community. Our team is committed to making sure children of our community maintain healthy smiles by staffing Miles of Smiles Mobile Dental Clinic and staffing the annual “Give Kids a Smile” day.
With more than 40 years of dedicated service to the community, the Mental Health Clinic provides psychiatric assessment and treatment to adults age 18 and older. The program offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, individual, family and group therapy, medication management and emergency services.
