Movement disorders are a group of neurological diseases and syndromes affecting the ability to produce and control movement. These conditions can affect the brain, spinal cord and nerves throughout the body. Together, they control all of the workings of the body including breathing, mood, speaking, learning, swallowing, walking, moving and seeing. Here at Lehigh Valley Fleming Neuroscience Institute, we have a team of experts in place to deal with these complex neurological conditions.

The highly specialized team also employs botulinum toxin injections, deep brain stimulation, and the levodopa pump to treat various movement disorders conditions.
