About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy is simple: I treat every patient as if they were a member of my own family. You deserve to be heard, understood and cared for with compassion and respect. I listen to concerns, explain options clearly and work collaboratively toward the best outcomes. By combining clinical expertise with empathy and communication, I aim to ensure each patient feels supported and confident in their care.
Why I entered medicine
I have always been fascinated by how the human body works, especially the hearing and vestibular systems. The intricate way the ear converts sound into meaningful information and helps maintain balance is truly remarkable. What drew me most to this field was the opportunity to make a tangible difference in patients’ lives – helping people reconnect with sound, communication and the world around them.
Community involvement
I volunteer with several organizations dedicated to improving hearing. I participate in Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh in my hometown, which provides free audiology services and hearing aid care throughout western Pennsylvania to those in need of them. I am a member of the South Central Learning Community, which advances education, collaboration and rehabilitation strategies for children with hearing loss. In short, I support patients and families beyond the clinical setting while contributing to initiatives that improve hearing health care and outcomes.
Personal interests
My personal interests include time with my family and maintaining a healthy balance between my professional and personal life.
