Philosophy of care

I believe therapy is a collaborative process that guides you to increase your self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms and increase personal strengths, allowing a more meaningful life experience. I have special interest in working with the family system, especially after trauma and tragedy, and helping them find hope and healing in their relationships with one another.

Why I entered medicine

I chose this career because it is truly a gift to watch others learn about themselves and overcome hurdles. The relationships I have had the privilege of building with colleagues and clients over the years continue to touch my life and motivate me to keep pursuing this passion.

Community involvement

I am involved with youth sports organizations and am a serving member of my church.

Personal interests

I love spending time outside, being active with my young daughter and family. I like finding the next local place with great food and sharing that with everyone I know. I’m always on the lookout for a new workout idea and partners to motivate me.
