Philosophy of care

I believe in patient-centered hearing care tailored to each person's communication goals, lifestyle and needs. My goal is to help patients improve their hearing and overall quality of life through evidence-based care.

Why I entered medicine

I have always wanted to help people. After exploring different professional paths, I discovered my passion for audiology; a full-circle moment influenced by my experience as a newborn hearing screener during college and my early exposure to American Sign Language in high school. Throughout my doctoral training, I gained experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients through diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid services, electrophysiologic testing, and vestibular assessments. These experiences strengthened my passion for helping people improve their hearing, communication and quality of life.

Personal interests

I enjoy staying active through running and weight training, traveling, and spending quality time with family, friends, and my dog.
