Philosophy of care

My goal as a pediatric nurse practitioner is to build strong relationships grounded in trust and respect with all patients and their families. This patient-family centered care model allows me to provide clear communication and truly understand the needs of each family. I deliver quality health education and encourage health promotion while connecting patients and families with the resources needed to thrive.

Why I entered medicine

As the daughter of a pediatric nurse, I listened to countless stories of resilient children treated for various medical conditions. After hearing about and experiencing the unwavering hope seen in children, I knew I wanted to learn more about it and bring comfort to pediatric patients and their families.

Community involvement

My family and I are active participants in the Pennsylvania YMCA community.

Personal interests

In my free time I enjoy baking, traveling, hiking and camping with my family. Prior to having kids, my husband and I spent four months traveling the country with our dog and a camper.
