About

Philosophy of care

As a doctor I am also an educator and a resource regarding what patients can do to live their healthiest lives. I help them understand their diagnosis so we can develop a patient-centered plan they are comfortable with and confident in. In addition to traditional medical approaches, we discuss dietary modifications, physical activity, sleep, stress management and other aspects of lifestyle. Together we work toward your health and improved quality of life.

Why I entered medicine

I was inspired by the medical careers of both of my parents. I genuinely enjoy working directly with people to help them maintain and restore their health. Working in medicine is a privilege for which I am very grateful.

Personal interests

I enjoy yoga, wellness and healthy cooking. Outdoor activities include hiking, tennis, biking and surfing. I spend free time doing all of these things out in nature with my daughter and our family.
