Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency Benefits

The following benefits are offered to Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) acute care physical therapy residents in addition to the graduate medical education salary and benefits.

 LVHN physical therapy residents and fellows:

  • American Physical Therapy Association dues
  • Application and examination fees to the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists for related specialty exam
  • Subscription to Medbridge education
  • Support for other neuro certifications (Vestibular, CSRS, CBIS, etc.)
  • Ability to complete all required CEUs for Pennsylvania license renewal
  • Conference registration to one national conference related to acute care physical therapy
  • 12 days of paid sick time each year
  • Certifications as required, such as BLS

Program-specific benefit:

  • 160 hours of paid time off
