Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency Application Instructions
Application Information
The Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network accepts 1-2 residents annually into our one-year training program.
Application Preferences
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Ability to obtain a license to practice physical therapy in Pennsylvania before the start of the residency
- Master’s or doctorate degree in physical therapy
- One-year clinical experience preferred, but not necessary
Application Process
Applications for residency are accepted through RF-PTCAS, which is a centralized application service for post-professional residency and fellowship education programs accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education of the American Physical Therapy Association.
The application deadline is December 15, 2025. Interviews will be held in the late fall.
