Anesthesiology Residency Application Instructions

How to apply

Applicants apply through AAMC ERAS system and we will participate in the 2027 National Resident Matching Program. We will accept five new PGY-1s to begin July 2027. Deadline is Oct. 15, 2026.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school.
  • USMLE Steps I and II or COMLEX-USA Levels I and II with passing scores.
  • Interviews to be conducted in person only from October through December at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, part of Jefferson Health.
  • Letters of recommendation are accepted but not required.
  • We do NOT offer observerships or externships.
  • We do not offer webinars/open houses or info sessions regarding the program.
  • We are not sponsoring visas this upcoming academic year.
