OBGYN/Gynecologic Oncologist to Join Medical Staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono and Lehigh Valley Hospital−Muhlenberg

Christine Kim, MD, board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) and Gynecologic Oncology, will be joining the staff at the Dale and Francis Hughes Cancer Center at Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)−Pocono in East Stroudsburg and at the Cancer Center at Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)−Muhlenberg in Bethlehem.

Kim is joining the expertise of Martin Martino, MD and M. Bijoy Thomas, MD with LVPG Gynecologic Oncology. She specializes in robotic surgery and treatment of the following conditions:

  • Cervical cancer
  • Ovarian cancer
  • Vaginal cancer
  • Vulvar cancer
  • Uterine cancer
  • Benign gynecologic conditions
  • Endometriosis

Kim earned her medical school degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She did her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York. Kim also completed her Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York.

“I believe that educating my patients about their medical diagnoses and conditions is an essential component of helping them heal,” Kim said. “My goal is to provide excellent evidence-based, compassionate care to each patient as if they were my own family member or me.”
