Your clinician may recommend Emano Flow to help monitor your urinary health. Emano Flow allows the flow rate and volume of each urination to be measured and recorded. Using an app on your phone, data is sent immediately and securely to your clinician to help make better-informed medical decisions.

- Enlarged prostate (BPH)
- Urinary incontinence
- Urinary frequency
- Urinary dribbling
- Urinary disorders
- Nocturia
Getting Started
- Download Emano Flow. Your clinician will help you set up. You will receive a text message with a link to download the Emano Flow app.
- Sign Up. After you have downloaded the app on your phone, open the app and follow the prompts. You will create an account and answer a few questions about your urinary health.
- Review App Instructions. You will complete the instructions in the app before recording your first urination and will be able to access them at any point for a reminder. We are also including the instructions below for you to review at any time.
App Instructions
- Make sure the room is quiet. Avoid loud fans and make sure the sink and shower are off.
- Place your phone anywhere near the toilet.
- Press the red button to begin recording. Don’t feel rushed to start urinating. You can take your time.
- Urinate as you normally would. It’s best if your results are an accurate reflection of your urinary health.
- Make sure you hit water. Try to aim for the center.
- When finished, end the recording.
That’s it! Your results will be automatically and securely sent to your clinician.
Your Results
You can view your data within the app, but please rely on your clinician to translate the results.
