Philosophy of care

One of my favorite things about being an ear, nose and throat specialist is the ability to take care of patients throughout their entire life. I treat a range of conditions, ranging from recurrent ear infections to obstructive sleep apnea, and have a particular interest in treating pediatric patients.

Why I entered medicine

I've always been drawn to science and biology, and medicine gave me a way to apply that into caring for people. I chose otolaryngology because it combines everything I enjoy most: performing procedures that can have a dramatic impact on an individual's quality of life, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients in the clinic.

Community involvement

I was fortunate to attend a Spanish immersion elementary school, achieving fluency at a young age. I have since used language skills as a volunteer interpreter during college and in teaching health seminars at a free clinic in Philadelphia during medical school. I strive to provide excellent care to Spanish-speaking populations in their native language.

Personal interests

I enjoy running, cooking, and time with friends and family.
