Why I entered medicine

I grew up with a deep curiosity about the human body and science, inspired in large part by my mom, an anatomy teacher. From a young age, I was fascinated by how the body works and how scientific knowledge can directly improve people's lives. As I learned more, I became especially drawn to the ongoing advancements in medicine and the ability to use evolving treatment plans to provide better care. This blend of lifelong interest and the desire to contribute to meaningful progress is what led me to a career in medicine. 

Personal interests

I recently moved back to Pennsylvania from southwestern Florida, where I unexpectedly fell in love with pickleball- and even met my fiancé on the court! Outside of that, I'm happiest when I'm out in nature taking long walks, listening to 60s music and classic rock, or spending time cooking and baking. I'm someone who loves being surrounded by friends and family, and most of my favorite memories come from simple moments shared with people I care about.
