About
Philosophy of care
I strive to provide compassionate and patient-centered care that respects the sensitive and personal nature of urologic conditions. I want to create a clinical environment where you feel heard, supported and empowered through education and shared decision-making. I am committed to practicing evidence-based medicine with all members of the health care team.
Why I entered medicine
My desire to practice medicine is rooted in service to patients and the community. From a young age I knew I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to create lasting impacts on people and better the health of my community. I chose urology because it addresses conditions that are deeply personal while contributing critically to a patient's overall health.
Community involvement
I strive to better my community both inside and outside medicine. Throughout physician assistant school, I donated to program donation drives and participated in school blood drives. I frequently volunteer at a local food pantry and assist during holiday meals.
Personal interests
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, reading and writing poetry.
