About

Philosophy of care

My goal is to equip patients with the knowledge, tools and confidence needed to feel empowered in their care and advocate for their own health. I treat you as I would want my own family to be treated — with empathy, respect and dignity.

Why I entered medicine

My unwavering passion for medicine began in middle school. Early on I envisioned a career in pediatrics, but soon discovered a deeper calling in women’s health — shaped by the complex and painful history of women’s health care, particularly the injustices faced by women of color. As a physician I take pride in providing care grounded in trust, safety and empowerment, with a steadfast commitment to delivering equitable care for all.

Community involvement

I am eager to become involved in outreach efforts by meeting patients where they are and educating them in meaningful, accessible ways. I hope to partner with nonprofit organizations that offer care, education and resources to underserved communities, with the goal of improving health outcomes and reducing disparities.
