Emergency Medicine Residency Community Involvement

As an LVHN emergency resident, you will have opportunities to serve the community on a volunteer basis.

ER residents have the opportunity to cover the Safe Harbor clinic in Easton, PA once a month. This walk-in clinic provides acute medical care and medical screening exams to individuals with poor access to health care.

Residents are also able to volunteer with Street Medicine, a team that provides on-site various resources and support, including medical care, to individuals among the Lehigh Valley experiencing homelessness and at risk for homelessness.
