Psychiatry Residency Benefits

The following program-specific benefits are offered to LVHN psychiatry residents in addition to the graduate medical education (GME)-wide salary and benefits.

  • Four weeks’ vacation
    • Two personal days per academic year
  • $1,000 toward approved continuing education funds per year
  • $1,500 annual stipend for approved scholarly activity conference when first author
  • $1,000 annual stipend for approved committee activity or competitor in professional or scientific society meeting 
  • Paid Step 3 COMLEX/USMLE
  • Paid initial ALS/BLS certification
  • Annual “wellness activity” funds
  • Free fitness centers
