To better meet the needs of our growing community and provide more appointment availability, Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Breast Health Services program is undergoing a major expansion project.
This new site, which is located at 1405 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., Suite 200, in Allentown, offers convenient access to screening 3D mammograms (tomosynthesis).
Breast Health Services at 1405 N. Cedar Crest officially opened on Monday, December 18. New patients are welcome as well as patients from other Breast Health Services practices who find this location more convenient.
To provide more appointment access at Breast Health Services at Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Cedar Crest, additional clinical space and another mammography machine will be added to the practice in the spring.
LVHN will also be opening a new mammography coach in 2024, which will be parked on the campus of LVH–Cedar Crest and provide screening 3D mammograms.
“These additions and improvements are a direct response to the growing demand for appointments in Allentown and its surrounding communities,” says Catherine Taranto, Program Director, Breast Health Services. “Every person deserves convenient and timely access to mammograms and other breast health services, and as we complete the various stages of our expansion, we will be able to better meet our patients’ needs.”
