About

Philosophy of care

My focus is always compassionate care. My goal is always providing the individualized care each patient needs. Many of my patients require collaboration across multiple specialties. I was always taught that complex problems may require not just knowledge, but also the courage to tackle what may seem an uphill battle.

Why I entered medicine

There are few professions where you can help others become whole again. Sitting at the bedside of a patient and providing care has always captured my interest.

Community involvement

In transplant medicine and cancer care, community outreach and education are central aspects of daily life. It is a specialty that is always evolving and advancing at a rapid pace. Throughout my career, I have made it a mission to reach out and share such advances with the community around me. This can happen through community events and by partnering with local charities and nonprofits.

Personal interests

I enjoy traveling, seeing new places and skiing. Perhaps the biggest joy of all is doing all of it with my children.
