Philosophy of care

I am committed to providing a holistic approach to treat pain and improve quality of life. I treat each patient as an individual and provide care as if they were family or a friend. Pain can affect everyday activities, even socialization, taking a toll on mental and physical health. I help patients through pain to fulfillment.

Why I entered medicine

During my time as a Division I collegiate athlete, I developed an injury that not only took me out of the sport, but also affected my day-to-day life. The experience led me to a new passion in medicine; I have a great deal of empathy and understanding for patients. The role a clinician plays – getting patients back to activities they enjoy so they function at the highest degree possible and are not defined by their pain – is enormously gratifying.

Community involvement

I have strong roots in the region: I grew up in Schuylkill County and have ties to the Lehigh Valley, Giving back to the community has always been at the forefront. I have volunteered at local athletic events and food banks, and look forward to doing so again.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending time with family, friends and puppy, as well as swimming, hiking, cooking and reading.
