About
Philosophy of care
My philosophy of care is doing what’s best for you and keeping you as informed as possible about your health care to reach the best outcome.
Why I entered medicine
As a child and young adult I looked up to a lot of people in the medical field and that made a big impression on me. I enjoyed the sciences from an early age and, when the time came, decided to apply those skills to the field of medicine. I also knew I wanted to practice in a community setting in Pennsylvania like my father and grandfather did before me.
Community involvement
Most of my volunteer work has been with area youth organizations. I have been president and administrative official of the local YMCA swim team for seven years. I volunteer and assist in the organization of multiple charity races and triathlons that benefit the community.
Personal interests
I spend free time cycling, running, swimming, skiing, water skiing, fishing, hunting and pretty much anything outdoors. But really my biggest interest now is my family, their interests and future.

Hazleton Ear Nose and Throat Care Team
What is a Care Team?
Your care team is a group of caregivers in a specialized medical practice, including your doctor and physician assistants, who specialize in two main areas: ear, nose and throat (ENT), and head and neck surgery, or otolaryngology (OHNS). They work together to diagnose and treat – both surgically and nonsurgically – issues with your ears, nose and throat, and a broad range of conditions affecting your head and neck.

Comments
"Dr. Pollock, listened and asked questions that would help him in resolving my issues. Appreciated the concern and help he provided."
"I would like to compliment this practice on their efficiency. When I called for an appointment, they put me on a wait list. I have been on other wait lists but have never had a notification before. I was able to get an earlier appt through the wait list. My time in the waiting room was 5 minutes. After I was roomed and prepped for the provider I waited 1 minute. No one appeared rushed yet my visit was very timely. I also appreciate what I felt was a very kind gesture by Dr Pollock. Since it was my 1st time here, I have no way of knowing if this is routine or not. After my visit was over, Dr Pollock escorted me to check out and explained what follow up was needed including my next appointment. This practice gets an overall A+."
"Dr. Pollock and his staff are knowledgeable, kind and caring."
