Are you 24 or more weeks pregnant and looking to save valuable time? Whether you’re a busy mom or could use more flexibility when it comes to your prenatal appointments, our virtual prenatal care program was designed to support you during your third trimester, allowing you to continue receiving the care you and your baby need, but in a more convenient manner.
How the virtual prenatal care program works
During your first and second trimesters, you’ll have routine, in-office visits to ensure you and your baby receive the personal care and monitoring needed during the early stages of pregnancy. Then, starting at 24 weeks and throughout your third trimester, you’ll alternate between virtual and in-person visits.
At the beginning of our virtual prenatal care program, you’ll have an initial visit with a registered nurse where you’ll learn how to use the essential tools you’ll need for this program. Provided to you at no additional cost, these tools include a fetal doppler to listen to your baby’s heartbeat, a scale to track your weight and a blood pressure cuff for real-time remote monitoring of blood pressure.
Once you have the tools you need, your prenatal care will alternate between virtual visits and traditional in-office appointments. This hybrid approach ensures you stay closely connected to your care team while enjoying the flexibility of virtual check-ins.
You will be asked to return the fetal doppler after delivery; however, you may keep the scale and blood pressure cuff.
