Our program offers comprehensive and progressive training in primary care, inpatient and subspecialty pediatrics, allowing residents to develop the knowledge, attitude and skills needed to achieve excellence.

Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital

As a resident in our program, you’ll care for infants, children and adolescents in a variety of settings, including inpatient units, outpatient primary care and subspecialty clinics, the Children’s ER and the surrounding community. Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital offers you the most extensive pediatric resources in northeastern Pennsylvania, including more than 30 pediatric specialties as well as the only Childrens Hospital, pediatric intensive care unit and Children’s ER in the region.

Our Children’s Hospital has become a referral center for many of the hospitals in the region because of the superior care we provide to children. As a result, you’ll learn by caring for a diverse patient population, including children with common acute-care complaints, complex and chronic illnesses and acute and life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Because of our strong relationships with community resources and services, we’re well positioned to help you succeed in advocating and caring for children throughout your career.

We have designed our curriculum to emphasize resident education above service. As a resident, you will have direct, personal contact with attending physicians who will serve as mentors throughout your residency and beyond.

Our goal is to train compassionate and competent pediatricians through a comprehensive experience across a variety of clinical settings. Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital is dedicated to the health of the children of our many communities, and our residents are an important part of that mission.

Please explore our site to learn more about our Pediatric Residency program, the Children’s Hospital and the Lehigh Valley, and see how our program can offer outstanding training to you in a wonderful community.
