About
Philosophy of care
My care is grounded in the belief every patient deserves comprehensive, compassionate and individualized treatment. I see each person not just as a diagnosis, but as a unique individual with distinct needs, values and life circumstances. I am committed to providing the full spectrum of cancer care, including surgery, chemotherapy and access to clinical trials to ensure the most appropriate and effective treatment. No two patients are the same, and I believe their care should reflect that. By taking the time to understand each patient’s goals, concerns and priorities, I strive to create a personalized treatment plan that aligns medical science with human understanding. My goal is to deliver care that not only treats disease, but also supports the whole person – physically, emotionally and with dignity throughout their journey.
Why I entered medicine
From the time I can remember, I wanted to be a doctor. Growing up, I was always drawn to helping others and making sure people were cared for. My family loves to remind me of the countless doctor kits I asked for and received for Christmas, and how I would spend hours “treating” them. That early curiosity and desire to help others grew into a genuine passion for medicine -- a field that allows me to combine compassion, science and problem-solving to make a difference in people’s lives.
Community involvement
Originally from the Lehigh Valley, I recently moved back home to continue my career and reconnect with the community that shaped me. I am passionate about supporting local causes, especially those that empower women and advance cancer awareness and research. Recently, I participated in the Women’s 5K Classic to support breast and gynecologic cancer initiatives, and I look forward to continuing to be involved in efforts that make a positive impact on women’s health throughout the community.
Personal interests
I enjoy hot yoga, trail walking with my dog, traveling and trying new food with friends and family.
