About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy is to treat you, not “the patient.” This is something I always felt strongly about, and it was reinforced during my schooling at King's College. It can be easy to get lost in the objective and statistical nature of medicine, but behind every patient is a unique individual who needs an equally individualized treatment plan.

Why I entered medicine

I always had an interest in problem solving. When presented with the opportunity to apply this to a specific trade or career, being a physician assistant (PA) was an immediate draw for me. Beyond simply working through complex situations, being a PA allows me to make a positive and palpable change in people's lives. Furthermore, medicine is constantly changing, which is both challenging and rewarding.

Personal interests

Outside of work I enjoy hiking/playing with my dog, cooking with my wife, and playing disc golf, soccer and D&D with my friends. Video games also are a favorite pastime.
