About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy has always been to provide optimal patient-centered care with compassion and competency. I try to place myself in your shoes to better understand the situation and tailor your plan of care. I also greatly value continuation of care. I plan to continue this way of thought throughout my career and for every one of my patients.

Why I entered medicine

I pursued a career in medicine because I like helping people. Being exposed to the medical field at an early age allowed me to see the gratification patients experience, especially when exceptional care leads to favorable outcomes. That satisfaction and the opportunity to improve the quality of life for my patients led to a career in health care. Orthopedics has always been an interest of mine – I played football, basketball and baseball growing up. Consequently, I am very intrigued by the anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system.

Personal interests

I enjoy being physically active, no matter what I am doing. I like spending my free time being outdoors in the sun with my dog, taking hikes and exploring new places. In the summer, nothing beats a weekend trip to the shore. In the winter, I like snowboarding. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
