About

Philosophy of care

I treat everyone as if they were a member of my own family. Patient-centered care is important to me and I make sure you fully understand your diagnosis and all treatment options.

Why I entered medicine

I’m a hands-on person, someone who’s interested in what makes things work. I’ve always been intrigued by the human body and how it works.

My interest in medicine was first sparked in my childhood. I was only 4 when my sister was born and had to be airlifted for emergency surgery. The operation was successful and I remember the surgeon being this larger than life figure to me.

I started out my college career majoring in pharmaceutical product development, but it soon became clear that the only place I would be happy was in medicine.

Personal interests

I’m the mother of two and love spending time with my children. I’m an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan and love golf and running.
