About

Philosophy of care

I remind patients that regular health checkups that focus on prevention are just as important as seeing your doctor for treatment of acute or chronic conditions.

Why I entered medicine

I started my educational journey as an X-ray technician, and while I loved the profession, wanted to know more. I was interested to know, for instance, why the X-rays were ordered and how to diagnose and treat what the images detected.

Community involvement

I enjoy volunteering at community health fairs and reaching out to people who don't regularly visit a doctor.

Personal interests

Professionally I like to focus on preventive medicine, such as cancer screenings, blood pressure checks and preventive labs.
