About

Philosophy of care

As a physician, my primary responsibility is to provide patients with the best care possible. To do so, it's important to treat each patient with respect and listen carefully to their concerns and include them when formulating a treatment plan.

Why I entered medicine

I entered medicine due to a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I was initially a nurse, which was very rewarding – I enjoyed the responsibility of helping to care for the sick and vulnerable. I then decided to attend medical school after working with physicians and seeing the various ways they help patients.

Personal interests

I enjoy traveling and have visited several countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. I also enjoy road trips and spending time with my husband, two sons and our English bulldog, Rambo.
