About Dr. Martinez

Philosophy of care

Strive to provide high quality, evidence-based interventions and help return you back to your favorite activities and life as quickly and safely as possible.

Why I entered medicine

I enjoy educating and being an advocate for individuals and – with the addition of my interest in the sciences – being a physician was a great fit for me.

Community involvement

I participated in a medical mission to Puerto Rico for Hurricane Maria disaster relief.

Locally, I am the team orthopedic physician for East Stroudsburg University, Penn State at Hazleton campus and Pocono Mountain School District.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, playing tennis and other outdoor sports. I also speak fluent Spanish.
