About our Survey

Our physicians and advanced practice clinicians (CRNPs and PA-Cs) are among the nation's best. That's why we show you patient satisfaction ratings and comments so you can read about and get to know our clinicians through the eyes of their patients.

To ensure our ratings and comments come only from verified patients, we work with NRC Health, a third-party organization. NRC Health sends patient satisfaction surveys on LVPG's behalf following an office visit or procedure. They ask patients about their impression of the health care provider and the doctor's or advanced practice clinician's communication skills.

What is included in the star rating?

Star ratings are based on a scale of 1-5 stars, 5 being the best. The rating includes responses to these clinician-related questions:

Why don't all doctors or advanced practice clinicians have a rating?

In order to have enough data to measure and compare, a health care clinician must have at least 30 completed patient satisfaction surveys. Surveys are included for a period of 12 months from submission.

"I was super impressed with Doctor Tsen .The first time he came in the room he was already familiar with my history .He put a copy of my recent MRI on his computer projection screen. He asked me a lot of questions, talked about his options , and then told me that I had time to think. about what I wanted to do .I already heard about Doctor Tsen from from one of the pain specialists at the Cedar Crest ,hospital that was my doctor for 4 years..I also know other people that had spinal surgery with one of the other neurosurgeons at the Muhlenbrg spine center with him.Doctor Tsen is a very smart ,professional doctor and a kind man .His assistant is impressive too . People tried to convince me to go to Philadelphia or New York for spinal surgery .I am so happy I decided to trust this neurosurgeon and his group to help me right here in Bethlehem .I would highly recommend Doctor Tsen and Lehigh Valley Muhlenberg to anybody that needs neurosurgery ."
