About
Philosophy of care
I specialize in surgery for men and women with cancers of the genitourinary system, including prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular, penile and adrenal cancer. I have expertise in both open and minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgical techniques. A cancer diagnosis comes with feelings of fear, anxiety and vulnerability for patients and family members. My philosophy is to serve as your physician partner and provide a clear explanation of your disease, your treatment options and, together, formulate a plan of action. I am actively involved in clinical and translational research, and I enroll patients in clinical trials. My number one priority is taking care of you.
Why I entered medicine
I entered medicine to take care of patients, ease suffering and provide comfort and information to those struggling with overwhelming medical diagnoses.
Community involvement
LVPG Urology conducts urologic cancer screening and engagement. Community involvement is very important to us.
Personal interests
I spend free time with my wife and family, enjoying the outdoors, sports, cooking and traveling with friends.

What is a Care Team?
Your LVPG Urology care team works together to address your unique needs and ensure you always get the best care at the right time through a Center of Excellence approach. This team includes your physician and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) such as physician assistants, nurse practitioners and specialized registered nurses. APCs receive advanced training and routinely work alongside your physician, building expertise in areas of specialization with the four Centers of Excellence including men’s health, women’s health, stone-related disease and urologic oncology. Your care team will work with you to design a plan that effectively addresses your medical concerns.
