Philosophy of care

I treat all my patients as if they are family. I believe in the importance of connecting with you and giving you important and accurate information regarding your condition so we can make an educated and well-thought-out decision as a team. I understand there is no one-size-fits-all approach to a diagnosis and treatment, so I tailor my treatment plans to your goals and lifestyle.

Why I entered medicine

When I broke my ankle in the 2006 state championship game for Pottsville Area High School, I was abruptly introduced to the field of medicine. From the emergency department to the operating room to physical therapy, it all was so new and exciting. I greatly appreciated all the medical professionals who played a part in my care and that appreciation drew me to the field of medicine. I remember thinking if I could provide the same level of care to my patients, what a rewarding feeling that must be. Fortunately, I was right. The feeling of helping a patient drives me daily and keeps me motivated.

Community involvement

As natives of Schuylkill County, my wife and I recently moved back to help serve the area. We both felt very strongly about giving back to a community that gave so much to us. Our initial goals have been to garner a strong trust within the community and build from there, which we think and hope we are working toward.

Personal interests

Outside of medicine my interests are hiking with my wife and our two golden retrievers, physical and mental fitness/meditation, watching college and professional football, photography, travel and collecting rare and allocated whiskeys.
