About
Philosophy of care
As patient and plastic surgeon, we are a team working toward a common goal: Improving quality of life. I aim to provide you with the best individualized care to restore and/or rejuvenate form and function. It is a privilege to take care of patients, to understand your holistic needs and embark on a successful plan of care.
Why I entered medicine
I was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. My father was a tailor with many friends in the medical community. From them I learned the values of diligence and meaningfully impacting the lives of others. I gravitated to plastic surgery because of the constant innovation and transformation that positively influences patient care. I have had the great fortune of being mentored by many prominent plastic surgeons. I trained at one of the top programs in the country, gaining experience in reconstructive microsurgery using patients' own tissue.
Community involvement
I have participated in medical mission work in Haiti. I am a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and serve on the Patient Safety Committee. I am also a member of the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgery and Robert F. Ivy Society of Plastic Surgery.
Personal interests
I enjoy coaching my daughter's basketball team, golfing, running, traveling, music and learning guitar.
