Philosophy of care

I believe very strongly in providing patient-centered care. You need to understand your disease as well as the available treatments to make an informed decision about what is best for you. Cancer care can be quite complicated, and I feel it is my job to help you properly navigate your care and feel calm and comfortable.

Why I entered medicine

From a young age, I had an interest in biology and the human body. My interest in a medical career deepened after my mother passed away from cancer. I dedicated my life to searching for answers and being the best doctor possible for my patients. The radiation oncology medical specialty offered me a good balance between the science of physics and radiation biology, and providing each patient compassionate care.

Personal interests

I am a musician and have played both the harp and piano for many years. I love cooking, baking and exercising, and am passionate about taking care of my personal health and well-being. I also love the outdoors and in my free time enjoy hiking, kayaking, boating and camping.
