About

Philosophy of care

I believe in quality patient-centered care. Every patient is an individual with their own unique history, experiences, goals, expectations and needs. So I get to know my patients the best I can. I also believe proper strategies can prevent more serious/debilitating issues down the road. I enjoy taking the time to discuss these strategies with patients because I believe it gives them the best chance of remaining healthy.

Why I entered medicine

My mother was a registered nurse and my father an athletic trainer, so I got to spend a lot of time in athletic training rooms as a child. I remember being amazed with how the knowledge and skills of the trainers were applied to help athletes. My interest grew as I dealt with my own injuries during my athletic career. I discovered a passion for science and musculoskeletal anatomy as my schooling progressed, and it has been my dream to use that knowledge and those skills to help the public ever since.

Community involvement

In high school and college I helped organize and run several youth baseball clinics. I have also been involved in community health fairs and screenings around my hometown in Clinton County, Pa.

Personal interests

I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, playing golf and watching movies. I also love to learn and try new things.
