About

Philosophy of care

I enjoy partnering with patients and their families to navigate care systems and, if necessary, align needs and strategies for complex care. My goal is to learn your goals, so we can find the best medical approach for you. I believe health happens in the home and in the communities, so I provide medical care in that context. I am passionate about empowering patients to build health through appropriate nutrition, movement, sleep and stress management. I also try to reduce the medication burden by simplifying or de-prescribing medications when possible.

Why I entered medicine

I entered medicine after my own experiences helping loved ones navigate health care with complex conditions. The experience sparked my passion for helping the community navigate health care and for managing and treating chronic conditions.

Community involvement

I love being part of the community, buying local produce at the farmers market, participating in events at the local library and theater, and joining in local cycling events on my bike.

Personal interests

I enjoy exploring all the outdoor spaces the Lehigh Valley has to offer through hiking, biking and paddleboarding. I also like tinkering with computers and reading at home when the weather discourages being outdoors.
