About

Philosophy of care

My philosophy encompasses compassionate, unbiased and patient-centered care. I believe in treating you as a whole person. I strive to build connections, trust and understanding on a daily basis. Such foundations support open communication between me and you, ensuring you are comfortable making informed decisions and feel well understood and educated about your condition

Why I entered medicine

Growing up with a younger sister who has a variety of medical conditions and intellectual disabilities, I have always wanted to give back and help others the way my sister's medical team has helped her. I have a passion for taking care of others in their most difficult times. Throughout my education I had a huge interest in anatomy and physiology. A career as a physician assistant allows me to use my knowledge and problem-solving skills in combination with my empathetic nature to provide excellent patient care.

Community involvement

I have grown up in the Lehigh Valley and have connections throughout the community. My background as a competitive swimmer has given me many opportunities to be involved in community events. Now as a practicing clinician, I strive to be involved in the community and give back as much as possible. A dream of mine is to participate in medical mission trips to underserved areas.

Personal interests

My personal interests outside of medicine include being active, traveling and spending time with family, friends, and my dogs.
