Philosophy of care

I have always loved the saying, "Great communication begins with a connection." In so many ways, the relationship between me and you is extremely special. We as medical providers need to listen and understand you the patient so that we may provide the best holistic care.

Why I entered medicine

I have always wanted to be a nurse; nursing runs in my family. I loved caring and connecting with my patients in the acute care setting of a hospital. It also has allowed me to see the need for prevention and education outside the hospital so fewer hospitalizations are required.

Community involvement

I love participating in my local events with the Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Co., such as Santa Day.

Personal interests

I love trying new foods and being outdoors either hiking, walking my dog, or skiing. I can't seem to pass up new adventures. There are also days when there is a need for a Target run or just simply lounging on the couch in front of a fire with my husband and dog.
