Philosophy of care
I believe caring for you is more than treating your medical needs. It's also about meeting you where you are in your stage of life, considering your goals of care, addressing your concerns and respecting your right to decide for yourself.
Why I entered medicine
I worked for a time as a nurse aide in a dementia unit. I cared very much for all my patients and felt energized providing for their needs. I wanted to go into medicine from that time because I saw I had something to give that could really affect someone for the better.
Community involvement
I am a Sunday school teacher and a youth leader at my local church. I really love working with those kids!
Personal interests
In my free time, I like to draw, paint and read. I have a three-legged cat and chickens I love to spend time with.
