About

Philosophy of care

My approach blends patient-centered care, preventive medicine, trust building and a strong doctor-patient relationship with empathy and compassion.

Why I entered medicine

As a first generation Hispanic, I experienced firsthand language and cultural barriers in medicine. That inspired me to want to help bridge a gap in health care and contribute to a more culturally competent and inclusive care for underrepresented populations.

Community involvement

I have helped organize and volunteered at health fairs, and also volunteer in my local church.

Personal interests

As a mom of two young children, my interest mostly revolves around kid-friendly activities like petting zoos, farms and the Crayola Experience. I also enjoy spending time playing board games and nice walks in parks.
